Every time I go on an inspection trip to personally inspect our villas, I think how lucky I am to get to visit all these amazing properties in the most stunning locations. The Caribbean is always a firm favourite of mine, and St Martin is one of my favourite islands.
Many of our clients come to this stunning island in search of the perfect and most romantic honeymoon. I find a lot of our guests like to spend that bit more on their honeymoon and being a bride to be I can relate. I will be spending that bit extra to get the honeymoon of a lifetime as you are only going to do it once, so my motto is to do it right.
I love St Martin – it is one of the best islands for super luxurious villas, lots of activity, shopping and seriously good food, so it is no surprise that so many people go on their honeymoon to St Martin.

1. Les Palmiers
My first choice is the stunning Les Palmiers.
Les Palmiers is a stunning one-bedroom villa located on Baie Rouge beach, one of the best beaches in St Martin, is by far the most sought-after honeymoon villa in the Caribbean. It is extremely popular, has been on the cover of Conde Nast and features in honeymoon publications all over the world. I
have visited the villa many times, and I adore it.
It has gorgeous décor that is so luxurious, and the villa feels so private and secure. The sunsets are amazing, just imagine sitting on the terrace with a cocktail while watching the magical sunset- how romantic.
For the ultimate romantic dinner, our concierge can arrange a personal chef to come and cook for the two of you so whether you want to dine on the terrace while watching the sunset or on the pristine white beach we can arrange it all.
Les Palmiers is located on the best beach on the island in my opinion, and you are so close to lots of activities and restaurants. The villa has air-conditioning in the living area and bedrooms which are rare to find on the island.
Le Sand and Mezza Luna are some great restaurants which are only a short drive from Les Palmiers.
2. Carisa
My Second choice is the ever beautiful Carisa.
Carisa is a firm favourite among honeymooners and repeat clients too. I have had many clients stay here on their honeymoon and return every year because they enjoyed it so much.
It is a little more spacious than Les Palmiers as it has two bedrooms, but they offer a 1-bedroom rate to honeymooners and couples who don’t need the second bedroom.
It is just down from Les Palmiers, so they are both on the same beach offering similar views and sunset. The villa is very private and features a beautiful modern style décor.
The bedrooms have remote control blackout blinds so if you fancy a snooze mid-afternoon, you don’t have to worry about the Caribbean sun getting in the way. The owners have thought of everything.
Guests love that this villa has a Jacuzzi which is perfect for the cooler Caribbean evenings. Carisa also has AC in the living area and bedrooms. Carisa is an excellent choice for your honeymoon or a romantic getaway.
3. La Perla Classic
Also located on Baie Rouge –which is proving to be the St Maarten honeymoon beach is villa La Perla Classic – another stunning villa.
It has the most beautiful backdrop view of the ocean and is one of the best beachfront villas in St Martin. The terrace includes a Jacuzzi and pool, and it has an elegant yet classic décor making it very romantic and perfect for a honeymoon. The owners also own sister properties La Perla Bianca and La Perla Palais which are right next door. These properties can be all rented together to make up five bedrooms.
The best thing is the owners offer a honeymoon special during the summer months (May – December) where they set the mood by providing the newlyweds with a chilled bottle of champagne for two, flower petals in the master bedroom and scented candles.

4. Baie Longue Beach House
If you are looking for a more laid-back St Maarten honeymoon, Baie Longue beach house is a fantastic option.
It is on Baie Longue Beach where the famous La Samanna Hotel is situated. This villa has a mix of antique and modern décor with comfortable furnishings.
It has a fantastic terrace with a pool that looks onto the beach. The owners also offer honeymoon specials, providing petals in the master bedroom along with champagne for two and scented candles.
The villa is charming and would be more classical and laid back than the other honeymoon villas I have previously mentioned but still a gorgeous option for your honeymoon in St Martin and incredible value.
The villa has more of a beach style decor but guests love it and the housekeeper Ingrid is fantastic. This villa is in the Terres Basses neighbourhood where you are a short drive from gourmet restaurants and shopping.
5. Sea Dream
Last but not least is Sea Dream
Sea Dream is located in Happy Bay on the northern side of the island, a little further away than all the other options I have discussed. The reason I wanted to include an option in this area is that it is close to Grand Case which is only a 2-minute drive from the villa.
Grand Case is a small town that has an excellent strip of restaurants that I always recommend all my clients to visit while on the island. It is 30-40 min drive from the previously mentioned villas. The restaurants range from extremely casual to gourmet, but they have a great selection especially on the waterfront which is so romantic for honeymooners.
You can walk along the strip and read the menus, but during the winter I would recommend making reservations as it can get hectic during the evening. Sea Dream is a beautiful option that is only a 10 min walk to the beach and has magnificent ocean views.
The villa is great value all year round, and there is daily maid service six days per week. If you are looking for honeymoon villas in St Martin in a fantastic location and incredible value, Sea Dream is worth considering.
