It’s hard to find a private villa in Santorini but Blackrock Villa is just that. It is a large villa with plenty of outdoor space and parking. The villa is one of the few villas in the world that has its own recording studio. The owner is in the music business and we met him on our last visit to the villa. In fact there was a number of people recording music that day at the villa. The property is unique being one of the more private options on the island. Kids will love the games room area downstairs which was a dart board and foosball table. The outdoor space was one of my personal favourites it has a large pool and nice outdoor dining area. I would highly recommend this villa to a large family or group of friends.

Welcome to Black Rock Villa, a luxurious 5-bedroom villa situated on a cliff top at the southern tip of Santorini with breathtaking ocean views.
This villa is situated close to Akrotiri, a charming village located on the very south of Santorini and offering views to the whole of the caldera.
Santo Wines is situated only 8 kilometres from Black Rock Villa. Santo Wines is a grape and wine producer and is a vibrant part of the island culture. Why not take a visit during your trip? Here you will find a museum, restaurant, educational programs, viewing platforms and, of course, wine tasting courses.
Black Rock Villa is just a couple of minutes drive from the historical village of Akrotiri where you will find many fine tavernas and restaurants. Mesa Pikadia Beach and Santorini lighthouse are also very closeby.
Black Rock Villa is a beautiful white stone building combining modern and traditional design and furnishings. The interior of the house is bright and chic.
The villa has three spacious floors featuring several living, eating and reception areas as well as a beautiful well equipped open plan kitchen. Two large en suite bedrooms occupy the ground floor, with three other bedrooms on the first and second floors. The main living area has a flat screen TV, DVD & CD Player.
The outdoor heating swimming pool, Jacuzzi tub, barbeque area and terraces for al fresco dining offer the perfect spots for ultimate relaxation with amazing views.

Area description
Santorini is an island that needs no introductions. On the top ten “most desired” destinations worldwide for the past ten years, almost everyone wishes to visit the island for at least one time in their lives. The only habitable caldera in the world and a famous destination for weddings, honeymoons and lovers of unique views it attracts visitors literally from all parts of the world.
Not only is Santorini one of the most beautiful islands in the world, it is also geologically and archaeologically one of the most dramatic. The island, which is also called Thira, is shaped like an enormous pair of jaws encircling a lake filled with pure blue water. This is the core of an ancient volcano, which according to legend destroyed the lost continent of Atlantis when it blew its top about 3,600 years ago, burying the ancient city of Akrotiri (now being excavated) under tons of ash and sending out tidal waves that inundated other landmasses.
The island's two towns, Fira and Ia, are perched on the cliff tops of the highest part of the island. Ferries arrive and depart in the harbour below, and visitors walk or ride donkeys up the steep winding path to the towns. The towns are equipped with hotels, good restaurants, bars and plenty of nightlife to keep visitors happy while you relax between visiting the archaeological remains of ancient Thera, dating back to the 9th century BC, on the east side of the island. Other attractions include the excavations at Akrotiri, an archaeological museum and an 18th-century monastery. Santorini has two swimming beaches, Perissa and Kamari, both characterised by their volcanic black sand.

Perfect for us!
We brought three other couples to celebrate my wife's 75th birthday and then later in the week, our 30th wedding anniversary. Every day was perfect; the two celebrations were catered by Spicy Bites, at a round table down by the pool ... could not have been more romantic and appropriate. The staff was totally responsive. The location away from Fira was quiet and relaxing. Our concierge made the visit memorable with her suggestions for places to visit and great restaurants. The concierge support was exceptional from the start.

Black Rock Villa is absolutely amazing. It is in a private and relaxing area. The property is very large with space to park ATVs/cars outside. The daily breakfast is great. You have views of the ocean from 2 sides, which is not common. Great for large groups (we had 9). Host communication was excellent. Definitely stay here!
Stunning Home
How many villas include a professional recording studio! This beautiful villa is not only a luxury villa but it includes a top class recording studio where some of the most famous artists have recorded their albums including Justin Bieber. This won't be the most important requirement when you are looking for a villa but it is a great addition to this wonderful house. It is a spacious villa and perfect for a large group of friends or family. The large pool area is a great spot to relax and take in the beautiful views. The location is ideal for a group looking for privacy and should you want to venture to Fira, it is just a short drive away.
