Welcome to the Birdsnest at the Tiamo Resort. Tiamo Resort is an exclusive slice of paradise in the heart of the Caribbean. This is a stunning 3 bedroom cottage surrounded by beautiful wildlife, located right in the center of this beautiful resort. It is the perfect spot for a group of friends or even a group of two or three couples in need of a relaxing and quiet break. It is also ideal for families as there is a toddler-proofed gate at the bottom and at the top of the stairs.

Upon entering the Birdsnest you will see a large fully equipped kitchen to the right and a dining area with a table and chairs seating up to 6 on the left. On the opposite end there is a door leading out to downstairs decking where you can step out and take in the various wildlife surrounding you. At the back of the Villa there is a fabulous terrace with your own private pool and Jacuzzi where you can sit out and take in the sun on the loungers while sipping a cocktail or just simply taking in your stunning surroundings. This terrace leads back into the living room located downstairs also. It is a beautiful bright and airy room with flat-screen TV and very comfortable couch and armchairs. There are two beautiful en-suite bedrooms downstairs, each featuring queen-sized beds and stone bathrooms with beautiful L’Occitane beauty products. Upstairs leads to the magnificent master suite. As you enter you will see a large en-suite bathroom to the right with a large shower and a large separate bath, also featuring beautiful L’Occitane products. On the right there is a large wardrobe with a safe and you will find two robes and slippers. There is a king-sized bed and large flatscreen TV for you to enjoy. Both the bedroom and bathroom lead out to a wraparound upstairs terrace where you can enjoy Ocean Views and also look down over the pool below. The Birdsnest is aptly named as it truly is a haven amongst the trees that surround it.

The minute you step off the boat at Tiamo resort you will instantly feel at ease, ready for a stay involving the utmost peace and quiet. You will most certainly feel rejuvenated and relaxed throughout your entire stay at Tiamo. As you arrive into Congo Town airport, you will be greeted by Shirley the local taxi driver who will transport you to the boat that will bring you out to Tiamo- this is a 10 minute taxi ride. You will then be greeted by Captain Kemp who will transport you by boat to the resort. This is the most fabulous 10 minute boat ride across the most pristine turquoise waters. When you arrive at Tiamo you will be welcomed by Malika the receptionist, who will show you to your villa and give you a quick de-briefing of the amenities the resort has to offer.

Here at Tiamo you can avail of many water-sporting equipment, all of which are complimentary to guests. These include Paddle boarding, snorkelling equipment, glass bottomed kayaks so you can see down into the waters below and admire the beautiful sea-life and coral. There is also a large two-seater paddle bike where you and a friend can go exploring on and also 3 or 4 sun loungers situated on the water for ultimate relaxation while basking in the sun. There are of course many sun loungers situated across the white sand of the stunning Tiamo beach also. At an extra cost, boat excursions can be organised by the resort to the surrounding areas, along with private diving lessons also- where guests can get the ultimate exploration experience of the beautiful sea-life and coral. All equipment and wet suits are provided by the resort of course, so you don’t have to worry about bringing any extra marine luggage!

A continental breakfast can be included in your stay every morning at the stunning restaurant which is located just off the beach. Lunch and dinner is also served here. Here you will enjoy the most beautiful dining experience overlooking the tall Palm trees and then out to the spectacular waters of the Caribbean ocean. There is a pool directly opposite the restaurant where guests can enjoy a dip before or after their meal. Keith the chef, who is Michelin trained, will most certainly impress with his unique French-style cuisine. There is also a wide selection of wines from the world’s best vineyards, for you to enjoy with your meal.

There is a gym at the resort for guests use, it is open every day from 9am to 8pm. There is also a treatment room located right on the beach if guests would like to schedule a relaxing massage during their stay, as well as a boutique located next to the gym if guests would like to buy some summer attire during their stay.

All in all, Tiamo is a stunning resort which caters for every need, allowing you to sit back and relax while on vacation. You are sure to leave feeling completely rejuvenated and will most definitely want to return.
