PROVIDENCIALES:
Providenciales, more commonly known as "Provo," is the most developed island in Turks & Caicos, covering an area of 38 miles. Provo has been awarded "Best Beach Island" status by the World Travel Awards for several consecutive years. Although Provo is the most developed of all the Turks & Caicos Islands, it is also an idyllic destination for those who want to escape their busy schedules and relax in a peaceful, beautiful, scenic paradise.

On the North Shore of the island, where our stunning house is located, you will find the most beautiful of all the Islands' beaches and a coral reef, rich in aquatic life. This reef is a superb snorkeling area with abundant colorful fish and coral, just a short swim from the shore. The Princess Alexandra National Park marine sanctuary is home to many turtles, pelicans, and coral heads.

Provo enjoys consistent east-southeast trade winds, making it a perfect location for kite surfing. The same weather conditions also lend to great paddleboarding. Other popular watersports in Provo include jet-skiing, kayaking, surfing, and parasailing. There are also some excellent dive sites dotted around the coast.

THE BEACH:
This stretch of Grace Bay, called Sunset Beach, is virtually private and very secluded compared to other parts of the beach. The sand is powder white and soft. The water is almost always calm and crystal clear. Due to the beach's seclusion, the area is a virtual wonderland for wildlife, including turtles, osprey, and pelicans.

On either side of Beach Enclave, there is a good stretch of sand to enjoy a morning walk. There is good beach equipment available, including paddleboards, kayaks, and snorkeling equipment. The snorkeling directly in front of Beach Enclave is excellent, and the waters are shallow.

Should you wish to spend the day on the beach, the team at Beach Enclave will set up beach chairs and umbrellas for your use. But the best part of the beach is the feeling of privacy and solitude. Yours will likely be the only footprints in the sand.
