A recently updated two-storey countryside villa, surrounded by acres of olive groves and picturesque Italian landscape, Villa Bablu is the Tuscan destination you've dreamed of. A traditional sandstone built with terracotta tiles, typical for the region, the villa enjoys all the features that cater to the Italian lifestyle and more; a fully furnished wood-beamed loggia provides a space for guests to gather and enjoy each other's company outdoors, with much-needed shade during hot spells of weather. An alfresco dining area, complete with barbeque, sits to the rear of the villa, seating for ten on the stone terrace; the table is set and ready for a magical evening of wining and dining, the backdrop of beautiful Italy accompanying your meal. A large swimming pool framed by an intricate parquet of tiled terrace lies just a few steps away from the villa, with parasols and sun loungers at the ready for guests wanting to soak up the sun, enjoy a cool drink in the shade, or take a dip in the refreshingly cool water.

The interior comprises a blend of sophistication and rustic charm; ceilings made of richly hued wood beams span the fully furnished rooms, exposed stone and brick visible in various house areas. Red Cotto tile floors are found throughout the home, making the villa warm and welcoming to all who stay within its walls. The lounge comprises plush, rich-red sofas facing the fireplace and TV, a place of comfort and relaxation to enjoy on a day of inclement weather, or a spot to wind down at the end of a hectic day.

A magnificent bespoke dresser graces the dining area with ornate light fixtures on either side; the expertly carved dining table hosts eight guests for their meal in the softly lit space, an intimate setting for mealtimes. Adjacent to the dining area, an area to retire after your meal resides next to the patio door, plush couches on either side to sink into and enjoy conversation with a digestif.

The fully equipped kitchen is filled with state-of-the-art appliances, as well as the countryside charm of the versatile range oven; in the hands of a professional chef, richly flavoured and mouth-watering meals are available from the comfort of the villa. The rustic aesthetic is maintained in the cabinetry and shelving; a small breakfast table sits at the centre, well placed to enjoy a quick midday snack, may also double as a food prep area.
The bedrooms, filled with bespoke furniture and ornate décor, all enjoy the benefit of their en-suites; queen-sized beds with luxurious bedding are outfitted in all rooms, one of which can be converted into two twin beds.

LOCATION DETAILS
An enclosed property that's fenced off, complete privacy is afforded to guests of the villa. While private and secluded, the property is short of Impruneta, the closest town to the villa. With great shops to frequent for necessities and requirements, restaurants and bars are also ready to serve authentic Italian cuisine as guests explore the Tuscan countryside's delights.

For lovers of art and history, the Tuscan countryside is steeped in history - Florence, the seat of the famous Medici family, lies to the north of the villa and is the reputed heart of the Renaissance. The most populated city in Tuscany, Florence has a long history stretching back to Roman times, with architectural and artistic wonders on display in its many basilicas, churches, museums, and castles.

Wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the villa lies within Italy's rather large and famous wine-producing region, the Chianti region. Several wineries are to be found throughout, several in Gaiole, a medieval village that served as an essential trading post in eras gone by. As a result, locally produced wines with a wide variety of flavors and tastes are waiting to be sampled and are sure to tickle the palate.

Further afield, the often overlooked but no less beautiful city of Pistoia is to the northwest of Florence. It contains many more important historical landmarks, as well as an ample supply of shops, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs to sample your exploration of Italian culture.
