Atlantis is a unique and impressive and spacious property, but with a warm and welcoming family ambience, its layout designed for entertaining. Perched on top of its hilltop vantage point, secluded yet private Atlantis boasts a 10-minute drive to most amenities and attractions of Rodney Bay.

A long-curved driveway leads to this fabulous home with its impressive welcoming entrance. The single-storey villa’s walls are built from natural local stone, and the arch design is repeated throughout the exterior and interior. The stylish wood windows shape echo’s exactly the architectural detail. Atlantis is a unique property in many ways. This stunning villa recently underwent a high-end upgrade, and this has now resulted in a crisp, modern look with a historic, old Caribbean feel.

The stunning 5-bedroom St Lucia home expands over 8000 square foot. As guests enter you are immediately greeted by the soothing peacefulness of the indoor courtyard with water feature open to the Caribbean sky above. This Italianate feature in this Saint Lucian family home throws light and air throughout the adjacent great room and casual living area.

The living space has two areas the formal lounge looks onto the villa’s wrap-around veranda and pool deck through tall, wide French windows which echo the arched style of the entrance. The interior walls are a beautiful mixture of coral stone and natural local stone, with silvery grey tones contrasting with the high vaulted, dark stained ceiling, an original feature which was hand-crafted from beautifully finished natural wood. A casual style TV room lies to the right off the main living space, and the kitchen and formal dining room to the left.

The crisp white kitchen is so well equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and is finished to the highest standard, making cooking here a dream. The villa has its very own carefully maintained herb garden which is tended to daily and the cook will always fetch some fresh herbs for the daily meal preparations. The kitchen is great for casual family dining, but the home is also impressively equipped with a formal dining room for entertaining with a solid wood refectory style table that seats eight to twelve guests.

Step through the French doors of Atlantis to the expansive terrace and witness some of the most breath-taking panoramic views. The outdoor living area is a seamless extension of indoors, with comfortable areas for relaxing and dining. The most incredible feature of the villa is the fantastic 60’ infinity pool with its bird’s eye vantage of the hills and golf course below. To the west, the panorama extends from Mount Pimard and Rodney Bay to Pigeon Island, with Martinique sometimes visible on the horizon. To the east, the wraparound veranda looks towards the Atlantic off Cas En Bas Bay. All around the property, topical breezes and shaded corners keep the indoor and outdoor spaces cool all day long.

Several guest bedrooms are laid out in an interlocking floor plan of the beautiful indoor/outdoor atrium near the courtyard. Cathedral ceilings and lots of arched windows ensure every bedroom is bright and airy. There are 5 bedrooms in total, bedroom 1 is to the left of the courtyard and has a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The other four queen bedrooms are functionally laid out, of which three feature an ensuite bathroom. Within easy reach of these bedrooms is a cosy tv room, complete with DVD and a small movie selection.

Staff
Housekeeper - 6 days weekly from 9 am to 4 pm and a gardener/ general maintenance man 5 days weekly.
Cook service available within working hours of 9am to 4pm

Bedrooms
4 rooms are queens, one of these rooms has two queen beds, they cannot be placed together.
The smallest room is the fifth bedroom with a double bed.

Area description

Cap Estate was once a thriving 1500 acre sugar plantation covering the entire northern tip of St Lucia and now it is the islands most exclusive residential development. It is also just a few steps from St Lucia Golf Club which is the Island’s only 18 hole course.

Cap Estate is the northernmost point of the island of St Lucia. It is wonderfully quiet and exclusive yet it is only minutes away from Rodney Bay and the stunning beach.

Rodney Bay is one of the most popular yachting destinations in the Caribbean. There is a beautifully landscaped Marina with restaurants, bars, shops and galleries. The Bay is worth visiting during the day to browse through the shops and enjoy a waterside lunch or at night when it becomes lively due to the many night time venues.

For the most part, St. Lucian beaches are relatively short, but with five miles of white sand on Rodney Bay, Reduit is the place for a long stroll by the shore and a swim in calm waters. One of the most popular beaches on the island, it is fronted by the Rex St Lucian Papillon and the Royal St Lucian hotels.
