Villa Astra is a wonderful 15th Century building which was recently renovated to a high standard. This 3-story building is set among the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany and offers breathtaking views of the countryside. Mattacino is the closest town and the historical city of Florence is a 25-minute drive from here. Here is where you will find a wide selection of galleries, museums, shops, and restaurants.

This beautiful 5-bedroom villa is nestled in an exclusive estate boasting an impeccably manicured park which includes other villas as well. It can be rented alone or together with other houses to accommodate large parties or special reunions.

The entrance hall welcomes you and leads onto the elegant large communal spaces: the inviting sitting room with flat-screen satellite TV, a large fireplace and plush sofas, and a separate formal dining room with a blown glass chandelier. These eclectic spaces fizz with life and personality and feature designer fabrics, beautiful rugs, high-quality furniture, and antiques, all perfectly blended. A fully equipped Tuscan kitchen completes this floor.

This luxury Italian villa is made up of five spacious and bright bedrooms distributed as follows:
First Floor:
2 generous queen bedrooms, each with a spacious en-suite bathroom with tub/wall shower;
1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub

Upper Floor (two sets of stairs from the ground floor):
1 twin bedroom with a private bathroom with shower
1 brand new king bedroom with a private bathroom with shower and separate bathtub

All well-appointed bedrooms are provided with A/C and feature beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, and large windows that flood the space with sunlight. The rooms are refined yet fresh.

Outside you have your own private swimming pool, sundeck area, and a large gazebo to give shade if the weather gets too hot. This area also has a refrigerated area for keeping beverages nice and chilled. A lovely covered terrace is situated on the side of the villa and this is where you can spend having morning coffee and glancing out over the Tuscan countryside.

The 3-bedroom annex of this villa, when not included in the rental, may be rented out separately. No outdoor common areas are shared between the main villa and the annex, so the privacy of the guests renting the main villa only is always guaranteed.
