Welcome to AKA, a suave 3-bedroom villa that sits on the western reaches of the island of St Barth’s, overlooking the wonderful Corossol bay.

Minimalist to a point of being Zen, AKA’s interior uses the classic clean lines of the style throughout, using the bare minimum in its décor and furnishings to create a peaceful and calm ambience, allowing you to slip into relaxation mode in mere moments. The villa’s great room accommodates the lounge, dining area and kitchen, all under one lofty ceiling, making it the social hub of the property. AKA embodies the indoor-outdoor living lifestyle, the open floor plan of the great room featuring access to the terrace with several floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Enjoying the fresh sea winds that blow in off the southwestern shores of the island, the breezes keep the villa blissfully cool when the sun reaches its zenith each day. The dining area enjoys all the benefits of an alfresco experience with the picturesque backdrop, sacrificing none of the convenience of sitting close to the fully equipped kitchen.

Get up close and personal with the beautiful view beyond the glass and make your way to the terrace; bask in the sunlight on a lounger, or plunge into the pool to rejuvenate the senses. Exterior lighting in the pool itself opens up the prospect of taking a swim at sunset, lazing in the waters as the night sky rolls in. Take the conversation from inside to the comfortable outdoor lounge and sit in the shade of the veranda and lush green plants that border the property, indulging in your well-earned time off.

The three bedrooms of AKA are all outfitted with luxurious beds and bedding, irresistibly soft and a joy to sink into at the close of day. The master suite has its own en-suite bathroom for added privacy and comfort, whereas the remaining two rooms share a bathroom between them.

LOCATION DETAILS

Situated on the northeastern edge of the Caribbean, the unspoiled serenity of St. Barth’s welcomes you. 

The island spoils its visitors for choice when it comes to beaches, and AKA’s position is no exception; the villa commands a spectacular view of the ocean over the Corossol Bay, its waters milling with boats and yachts of all varieties – a south-west facing bay that is graced with beautiful sunsets. Close by and facing eastwards is the Anse des Cayes, a fabulous beach to visit for anyone on the search for sun, sand and sea; it’s also a great place to catch some waves, with reasonably consistent swell for surfers to enjoy all year round.

A peaceful and secluded haven, St Barth’s holds many adventures for the thrillseeker; for watersports and all related activities, you can head over to Grand Cul-De-Sac, one of the best spots on the island for surfing, standup paddle-boarding, windsurfing, kayaking and much more. Adding to that, sophisticated boutiques that populate the island make it a fashionista’s dream; the chic and exclusive destination holds all you’ll need and more for an unforgettable getaway. The western side of St. Barth’s holds Gustavia, the capital of the island; a short drive from the villa, Gustavia hosts plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, to allow guests have their fill of retail therapy, experience the nightlife, sample the local cuisine, and for those with a keen interest in the past life of the island, explore some of the distinctive histories of St. Barth’s - a good place to begin would be Gustavia itself, where the influences of past ruling countries still remain today; Fort Karl, a former military outpost, was left by the Swedish to protect the island in the 1700s. The small size of the island also makes many of its finest features even more accessible; this makes it easy to explore it in a matter of a few days.
