Villa Melissa is a perfect family villa in Barbados, offering 5 bedrooms - with 3 bedrooms in the main house and a 2 bedroom cottage. “The Times” UK listed Villa Melissa as one of the top 30 Caribbean Villas.

The property has a newly constructed swimming pool that sits in the middle of picturesque and spacious gardens and is particularly suited for families. It is divided into two areas by stepping stones creating a 3 ft. shallow end ideal for children with comfortable seating close by so they can be watched from the water’s edge. On the other side of the stepping stone is a deeper swimming area, 4.6 “ deep throughout for those who want to do lengths.

For further guest enjoyment, the new bar has a great, relaxed, beach bar feel with driftwood timbers and 6 bar stools - perfect for pre-dinner cocktails or a nightcap.

This 5 bedroom villa in Barbados sits within enclosed gardens. There is also excellent staff who will take care of you. Villa Melissa is only a few minutes' walks from the beach along a private road/pathway that runs just outside the grounds. Enjoy beach life but escape to the house as and when you feel like it.

As with many Caribbean Villas, holiday life is centered around outdoor living and soaking up the Caribbean atmosphere and the hospitality of the Caribbean Villa staff. Villa Melissa is no exception and the staff includes the efficient butler, whose focus is making sure guests have a relaxing time, and the warm-hearted cook Eurys, who will prepare some mouth-watering meals.

Bedrooms
All of the five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a combination of King, Queen, and twin beds to suit most requirements. The cottage is completely built of old coral stone and has 2 bedrooms with bathrooms, a kitchen, and 2 patios - an ideal arrangement for two families or groups of friends. Being private and having a fabulous west coast location with the beach, restaurants, and nightlife allows guests to get away from it all. Villa Melissa Barbados also benefits from wireless internet for those bringing their own laptops and wishing to keep in touch.

Local Area
Villa Melissa is located on the exclusive west coast of Barbados in the parish of St. James. Holetown with its chic & trendy café’s & bars is less than a 5-minute drive away. Limegrove Mall designer mall is also located there & is great to meander around. The more traditional Chattel shops are always popular with guests looking for gifts & authentic Bajan work. There are a host of superb restaurants to choose from should you choose to leave the comfort of your villa. Our concierge Julie is happy to assist with recommendations on everything from restaurant reservations to boat trips, spa treatments, car hire, airport transfers & everything else in between!

Staff:
Staff hours : 6 days per week, Sundays off.
Butler, Cook – 8:30am – 1:30pm & 5:30pm – 8:30pm ( Breakfast, Lunch & 4 Dinners.)Housekeeper/Laundress – 9:00am – 5:00pm
Please note that should staff be required after 8:30pm, taxi fare must be provided to get them home safely
