Overview Of Switzerland

The Matterhorn bathed in the first rays of the morning sun as seen across a crystal clear mountain lake

Switzerland is without a doubt one of the most beautiful countries in the world.    When you think of Switzerland and you think of stunning snow covered mountain peaks, chocolate box villages and fabulous skiing.  But Switzerland has so much more to offer both in winter and summer.

We offer two exceptional locations – Zermatt and Klosters which we believe are the finest of all the resorts in Switzerland.

Zermatt is a truly beautiful town dominated by the unmistakable Matterhorn and surrounded by 38 peaks that soar over 4000 meters into the sky.  It is one of only two towns in Switzerland that is completely car free.   It also boasts the highest skiing area in Europe.   This is where the world’s top skiers train in the summer and where you are likely to share a lift with an Olympic champion.  Zermatt also offers the most incredible selection of mountain restaurants, beautiful shops and absolutely stunning hiking and climbing in the summer months.

Klosters is a Luxuriously Royal Retreat Klosters that uniquely combines the epitome of a sophisticated mountain resort with a romantic unspoiled Swiss Village.   Famous for hosting royalty, this exclusive and rustic village nestles in the still rural area of Graubünden. Predominantly known as a ski resort with fantastic and largely untouched pistes suited to advanced powder seekers, beginners and children alike, Klosters also offers 700 km of summer trails and the Madrisa adventure park. The diverse range of activities both in summer and winter is astonishing.

Good restaurants are plentiful, and include the Michelin star Walliserhof. There are many others, tucked away above the village, which will pick you up in 4×4 vehicles and send you home again on a sledge in the moonlight.
