Round House at Tryall

Welcome to Round House at the Tryall Club, a 7 bedroom private Jamaican villa at the Tryall Club located in Montego Bay.

You quickly realise how beautiful Round House got its name with its Spiral stairways and balconies connecting multiple living, dining and sleeping areas in this eight-bedroom staffed villa at the Tryall Club.

A sweeping spiral staircase leads up to the eponymous round dining gazebo. Adjacent is the long curved balcony overlooking the pool and breathtaking blue view of the Caribbean Sea. White wicker sofas and rocking chairs make this shaded overlook everyone’s favourite gathering place. With six rocking chairs, chaise and sofa, this lofty piece of paradise is a place of memories formed here through breezy days and relaxed cocktail hours, treasured for their mesmerizing panorama of deep blue sea and uninterrupted horizon.

Child friendly, the Round House balcony can be made safe for youngsters with a long stretch of translucent mesh along the rail, and the stairway down to the pool can be gated. Designed as a family home, children are welcome!

Step through wide pairs of French doors into the tall semicircular living room with three deep-cushioned sofas and 43” TV. Distinctive in this entertaining room is a glistening glass and black granite bar with fridge and icemaker, and a Caribbean chandelier custom-designed with pebbles and shells.

The living room opens on two sides through quadruple sets of French doors. The south side of the living room leads to a courtyard, a curving walkway, and five bedrooms.

STAFF When you stay at Round House you will be personally cared for by the wonderful team of staff, including your own chef, butler, housekeeper, laundress and gardener.


ACCOMMODATIONS
All bedrooms have remote-control air conditioning, ceiling fans, iPod docks, lit dressing table mirrors, cable TV, and handsome en-suite Travertine marble bathrooms with glass door walk-in showers. The Master also has a whirlpool bathtub.

Main Level
Master Bedroom Suite:
King size bed, dressing room, 'n' hers bathrooms, 2 walk-in showers, whirlpool bathtub, balcony overlooking the pool and expansive sea view. Opens to main floor living room.

Bedroom 2 – Lavender Room:
King size bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Opens to the living room and central courtyard.

Bedroom 3 – Red Room:
King size bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. French doors to patio, lawn, central courtyard, gazebo and modest sea view.

Upper Level

1 very private bedroom up a marble staircase.

Bedroom 4 - Blue Room:
King size bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. French doors to balcony and sea view.

Lower Level

A concealed mahogany staircase (as well as two other staircases) leads to the downstairs TV-DVD room with optional sofa bed, French doors to the pool terrace and 3 more bedrooms. This is a convenient suite of rooms for a family of up to six guests … or eight including the sofabed in the TV room.

Bedroom 5 - Gray Room:
King size bed. En-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. Wide windows offer a view of pool, gardens and sea. Opens to the TV room and steps to gazebo and pool terrace.

Bedroom 6 - Middle Room: (connects to Bedroom 8)
Optional king size or 2 twin beds. En-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. Easy access to gazebo and pool.

Bedroom 7 - Aqua Room: (connects to Bedroom 7)
King size bed. En-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. Pool and sea view, easy access to a small patio and the pool.

THE TRYALL CLUB MEMBERSHIP
At The Tryall Club, the team is committed to continually improving their services and offerings to ensure that guests have the best possible experience during their stay. The Tryall Club is a private members club, so all guests 13 years of age and older are required to take out a Temporary Membership, which will be charged upon arrival at check-in.

Temporary Membership Dues now start at USD $32 per day, plus a 15% service charge, for guests ages 16 years and older who stay for one to four days. For guests who stay for five to seven days, the Temporary Membership Dues are now US $160 plus a 15% service charge. Children between the ages of 13 and 15 pay at a discounted rate of 50% plus a 15% service charge. For children 12 years and younger, Temporary Membership Dues are complimentary.

Includes beach, tennis, gym, pool, Hummingbird Kids Club, non-motorized water sports, Internet room, Usain Bolt Games Room for kids, teens & adults, jogging trail, afternoon tea & Manager's Cocktail Party. For various fees: golf, tennis lessons, Happy Hour, hair salon & spa, bars & restaurants, boutique, motorized water sports, Reggae Nights & Beach Parties on selected nights.

On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world. Its 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda and other PGA championship events. The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons. The Tryall tennis club features nine Nova Cushion courts, some lit for night play, with world-class pro’s on call. All white attire required.

The beach is well planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar. Work out in the well-equipped gym and compete in the new Usain Bolt Games Room at the Great House (teens love it). Jog the marked trails. Snorkelling, kayaking, Hobie Cat and sunfish are complimentary. Glass bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef and any captained craft attract various fees. Enjoy weekly events like complimentary Manager’s Cocktail Party on Mondays, as well as Beach BBQ and Reggae Night beach parties for an additional fee.

On the hill, enjoy the historic Great House for daily 4:00 tea and sweets. Shop at the convenient commissary and chic boutique, and meet for happy hour and snacks at the casual bar. Also at the Great House is the new Usain Bolt Games Room open all day and night for ping pong, pool, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, chess and checkers, board games, comfy reclining chairs and HDTV. And don’t miss the massive Tryall pool. The Tryall Club is thoughtfully designed to please toddlers, preteens, tweens, moms, dads and everyone from teens to octogenarians.
