Welcome to Chalet Elena, a very luxurious 4-bedroom apartment located just a few minutes' taxi ride from the prestigious town of Zermatt. Chalet Elena is superbly positioned in the suburb of Winklematten, from where you can ski to and from the slopes (snow permitting). With stunning views of The Matterhorn, and just a 10-minute walk to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, the apartment can sleep up to 8 guests in four bedrooms.

Elena really is a wonderful alpine retreat. The décor is bright and cheerful with alpine touches. The elegance and opulence of the furnishings and fittings offer a refined and relaxing home in which to unwind after a day on the slopes.

The apartment occupies the ground floor of Chalet Shalimar and is very spacious throughout. With open-plan living and dining areas together with an open-plan state-of-the-art kitchen, the apartment offers ample space for families to relax together with the comfort of having quiet corners for peace and quiet when needed.

The outdoor garden and terrace provide the perfect area to enjoy a glass of champagne while taking in the stunning views of the Matterhorn. Children can safely play in the snow at the front of the chalet.

The four en suite bedrooms can be prepared with either twin beds or double beds, depending on your preference. Egyptian cotton sheets, luxurious bathrobes, and slippers ensure the ultimate in cosy comfort.

Chalet Shalimar has an incredible wellness area and spa, featuring a sauna, hammam, massage room, and indoor swimming pool. The spa is shared with the penthouse apartment Alex which occupies the top two floors of the chalet. For larger groups, both apartments can be rented together.

This luxury Zermatt apartment has all the latest technology with flat-screen TVs and of course a state-of-the-art fireplace – the perfect place to relax and enjoy with a glass of champagne in hand after a long day in the mountains.

Elena can be rented together with Penthouse Alex to sleep a total of 20 people in 10 en-suite bedrooms.
STAFF
If guests choose to take the chalet on a fully catered basis, the apartment is staffed with a professional chef and host as well as a dedicated concierge. When taken on a self-catered basis there is a daily housekeeping service as well as a concierge who will be on hand to assist with any finer details throughout the week.
