The Royal Westmoreland’s 18-hole par 72 championship golf course is a great feature that many have rated as the best golf course in the Caribbean. The course itself spans across 7,045 yards and has villas laced throughout the manicured lawns, vivacious in color and offering panoramic views – including views of the azure Caribbean Sea.

Beaches

The closest beach is Mullins Bay, which offers a crescent-shaped, sugar-fine sandy beach. The beach is a great place to spend the day on the sun-soaked shoreline as the waves roll onto the shore. You can go snorkeling, swimming, sailing, paddle boarding or even jet skiing.

Royal Westmoreland villas are all within proximity to this beach, ranging from five to ten minutes depending on the villas located in the estate. The private car park is located directly opposite the beach for beach club members only.

When you stay in the Royal Westmoreland villas, there is a complimentary beach shuttle several times a day from the clubhouse to Mullins Beach and the Sanctuary Spa. Once you reach Mullins Bay enjoy this beautiful moment overlooking the turquoise sea ahead, as you step onto the beach and let your toes sink into the warm powdery sand.

The beach has a private area reserved for villa guests and offers a full beach service is with comfortable sun loungers. Each bed comes with a flag and every time you feel like refreshment all you must do is raise your flag and one of the attendants will arrive.

After a day on the beach, you can retreat to the island style clubhouse. Here you can chat with other visitors and guests of the island. You can enjoy a refreshing dip in the silk-like waters of the free form swimming pool, or sip on a tangy cocktail from the bar. You can also dine here in the evenings and enjoy some tropical dishes in this Caribbean restaurant. The clubhouse has a golf shop if you are ever in need some more supplies.

To the south is the Sandy Lane beach which is the location of the Sandy Lane Estate.

The Plantation House

The Plantation House is one of the world’s most exquisite and luxurious 7-bedroom villas located in the Royal Westmoreland estate. The property can sleep up to 16 guests over two floors.

This villa offers endless luxuries from the stunning swimming pool and impeccably manicured gardens to the beautiful interiors laced in contemporary artworks and the furnishings.

All 7 bedrooms are en-suite and have been exquisitely furnished which blend beautifully with the coral stone walls and natural travertine marble floors. The villa includes a games room and a cinema room however the terrace is where you will spend most of your time either lounging in the sun, sitting at the terrace bar or dining alfresco style.

Plantation House is also close to Paynes Bay Beach only a minutes’ drive and Mullins Bay, ten minutes from the villa. The villa comes fully staffed with a butler, housekeeper, and support maids/laundresses - as well as a full-time property manager.
