Sailing

Sailing in Anguilla has a long and deep history, and is one of the defining characteristics of the island. A sailing trip often promises to be the most memorable day of a holiday in Anguilla. Sailboats and motor boats sail regularly to the nearby islands off Sandy Island and Prickly Pear Cays. For others who do not want o spend an entire day sailing there is a great option to go to the gorgeous Scilly Cay set on a tiny island just offshore in Island Harbor.


Deep-Sea Fishing

Deep-sea fishing is very popular in Anguilla. Boats go to nearby smaller islands to search for wahoo, sailfish and tuna among other. It’s a great day out for the whole family.

The lush green gardens of Anguilla’s 18-hole golf course are just wonderful. The golf course stretches 4 miles and has a flowing streams and panoramic views of the stunning Caribbean Sea and the tropical island of St. Martin.


Tennis

The Anguilla Tennis Academy has six lighted, gated, hard-tru tennis courts, a pro shop, locker rooms and substantial parking. The ATA program itself has attracted international attention and sponsorship from world-class coaches, players and sponsors and is considered “The Best in the Caribbean Region.” The ATA Complex is open to visitors for court time, lessons, camp, clinics and pro-shop services including racket rentals. Hours are Monday through Saturday 8:00am – 6:00pm. Reasonable rates, and partners for play are available. Summer Camp runs from July 11th through June 29th. International guests are welcome. Space is limited to 150 participants between the ages of five and seventeen.
